Caterpillar DG Sets
CAT diesel generator sets sized for standby, prime or continuous duty, with acoustic enclosure and EMCP control.

About Caterpillar DG Sets
Microtech supplies Caterpillar diesel generator sets as an authorised channel promoter, for factories, hospitals, commercial buildings and infrastructure sites across Uttar Pradesh and neighbouring states. Each set is a Cat diesel engine, alternator and digital genset controller supplied as one package, with ratings and performance stated to the ISO 8528 framework.
Cat lists India-market 50 Hz sets in the mid- and large-kVA band – for example the C13 at 400 kVA, the C15 at 500 kVA and the C18-based DE630 at 630 kVA prime, all at 415 V and 1500 rpm. The DE630 is certified to the CPCB IV+ emission norms that apply to new gensets up to 800 kW in India, and is built to accept 100% of its rated load in one step. For larger plants, Cat's 50 Hz diesel range continues into multi-megawatt sets such as the C175-20.
We start with a load survey to fix the duty (standby, prime or continuous) and the kVA rating, then supply the set with its acoustic enclosure, AMF or synchronising panel, and installation and commissioning by the same team.

Caterpillar DG Sets — FAQs
Do you supply Caterpillar DG sets in Uttar Pradesh?
Yes. Caterpillar is one of the generator lines we carry as an authorised channel promoter. We supply Cat diesel generator sets with enclosure and control panel, and handle installation and commissioning for sites in Uttar Pradesh and nearby states.
Which Caterpillar sets are CPCB IV+ compliant?
Caterpillar lists CPCB IV+ certified India-market sets such as the C18-based DE630 (630 kVA prime, 415 V, 50 Hz). Emission certification is model-specific, so we confirm the CPCB IV+ status of the exact model in our quotation.
Standby, prime or continuous – which rating do I need?
Standby suits sets that run only during mains failures. Prime suits sets that run for long hours at varying load where grid supply is weak. Continuous suits a steady base load around the clock. We decide this from your load survey and outage pattern before fixing the kVA.
Can a Caterpillar set run in parallel with other sets?
Yes. Cat EMCP 4.4 controls support paralleling of multiple sets, and we also build synchronising and load-sharing panels for multi-set plants.
